Senior Video Producer, The Verge
Vox Media
The Verge is seeking a talented Senior Video Producer to develop and execute our editorial video programming. This is a full-time role that reports to our Supervising Producer - Audio/Video.
The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller and experienced video creator with deep knowledge of, and passion for, The Verge’s coverage areas. They should also have deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the platforms where video is consumed, from TikTok to Instagram and YouTube, and understand the dynamics of how both short and midform video is discovered and consumed.
They will work alongside a team of dedicated producers, directors, journalists, and other craftspeople to create multi-platform, multi-format content across our video, audio, and social channels. But they should also be able to independently execute a project from story pitch to script development, shooting, and editing — at the speed of breaking news when necessary.
The Senior Producer will help execute The Verge video’s larger programing strategy, consistently elevating our voice and visual aesthetic while managing deliverables and deadlines. We’re looking for a comprehensive and enthusiastic producer who can juggle multiple projects in various production stages and deliver consistently excellent results with limited resources.
