As our Senior Marketing Recruiter, you will partner with our Marketing leaders to recruit passionate, driven talent to join our world-class marketing organization.

You will have high visibility and a direct impact on marketing recruiting for current and future offices, working in collaboration with high-impact teams.

This position is on-site in San Mateo, CA.

  • Full cycle end-to-end recruiting (sourcing, screening, process driving, and closing).
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in marketing and across the company.
  • Create the framework and gather market data to assist in launching net new positions.
  • Strategize and develop unique ways to engage top talent: Use strategic platforms and creative engagement strategies to source excellent talent and actively source passive candidates (IC, Manager+).
  • Manage a full cycle recruiting process; maintaining a strong pipeline and seamless process.
  • Track and document candidate communications in ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Deliver a high-touch, high-quality, transparent, and honest candidate experience.
  • Have fun and enjoy your contribution to growing an exciting company.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 4-8 years of successful full-cycle recruiting experience at a strategic search firm, a startup or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to influence using collaboration while also taking direction and being open to direct feedback.
  • Ability to navigate and push through adversity in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Experience managing multiple internal competing priorities.
  • Commitment to excellence and finding the top 1% of candidates.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for the candidate experience.
  • Executive presence, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Local to the Bay Area - HQ in San Mateo, CA (or open to relocation).

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
