We are seeking a Regional Vice President, Enterprise with superb energy, passion and experience with a “Hands On Approach” driving new business acquisition within Non-SLED. The role focuses on the strategic and tactical planning for the region to ensure objectives are met and aligned with the overall organization goals. The Regional Vice President, Enterprise will cover the East and will play an integral role in helping Verkada surpass our growth goals.
Ideal candidate will reside in NYC. This position reports to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales, Americas & Canada
You Will:
- Drive, Manage and assume full ownership of all bookings growth of the Northeast + Canada
- Dedicate at least 50% of your time to field-based sales activities away from the workplace, including customer meetings, site visits, and relationship-building. You will partner closely with your Regional Sales Directors and Enterprise Account Executives to develop a robust field sales strategy.
- Lead a team of Regional Sales Directors and Enterprise Account Executives in the pursuit of uncovering and developing new opportunities, managing pipeline, executing on account strategies, and managing customer growth
- Develops and execute a Focus plan to maximize revenue and growth across the region
- Manage all aspects of the sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics and quota, with a strong emphasis on net new business sales. This includes prospecting and outreach to new SLED business opportunities providing product demos, product trials, and strategic negotiations with customers and channel partners
- Establish a partner ecosystem and work closely with partners to foster collaboration and create opportunities
- Collaborate and work in unison with Enterprise Development, Sales Engineering, Channel Development and Verkada’s partners to exceed revenue goals
- Provide a “Hands On Approach” into account strategy and execution
- Drives accurate team forecasting that is aligned with Executive Leadership expectations
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the region and act as a Key Member of Verkada’s Enterprise Leadership team
- Organize weekly forecast meetings with direct reports and foster the growth of Regional Sales Directors through regular one-on-one sessions each week. These individual meetings will encompass discussions on delegation, pipeline assessment, regional strategy and performance management
- Act as an integral part of the recruitment, onboarding and mentorship of Regional Sales Directors and Enterprise Account Executives with the support of our in-house recruiting and enablement teams
You Have:
- 3+ years as a 2nd line sales leader in a sales-driven technology organization; 3+ years of managing a high performing enterprise sales team selling a highly complex technical solution with focus on building out greenfield territories and landing new business; proven success working on complex/large Enterprise deals
- Customer-focused with extensive experience developing customer relationships within Non-SLED Accounts such as Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitals, Etc.
- Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles, including navigating the complexity of multiple buying stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with an internal channel partner team to sell through and with channel partners is a plus
- Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” with Enterprise Account Executives, actively participate in their deals and maintain a robust field presence alongside them
- Relevant software or hardware industry experience in any of the following domains; security software or hardware, computer networking and “how the internet works”, subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software is a plus
- Strong knowledge and execution of MEDDIC is highly preferred
- Intellectually curious. High IQ, EQ and self-awareness
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with peers, customers, and partners
- Thrive working in a fast paced dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- BS/BA degree strongly preferred

A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
