About the Role

Verkada is seeking a high-energy Channel Development Representative (CDR) to drive the growth and success with some of our largest National Solution Provider (NSP) partners on our Direct Market Reseller team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Channel Sales Managers to strengthen existing relationships, generate pipeline, and accelerate partner success through enablement, field presence, and creative go-to-market strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with CSMs to expand relationships and generate pipeline within our largest NSP partners, Insight and CDW.

  • Support enablement initiatives that help partners position and sell Verkada effectively.

  • Contribute to field activities and partner events to strengthen engagement and presence.

  • Use creative strategies to uncover new opportunities and accelerate partner growth.

  • Provide coverage and act as an inside resource for CSMs when needed.

  • Gain hands-on experience with Verkada’s partner ecosystem while building a foundation for a future Channel Sales Manager role.

  • 25% travel for partner onsite visits and run events alongside CSMs/sellers.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 2+ years of professional work experience (sales or business development preferred).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and enable partners.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Engaging personality with polished verbal and written communication skills.

  • A scrappy, hunter mentality—driven to succeed while remaining open to coaching and growth.

  • Must be located in/around the Tempe, AZ office and willing to work onsite daily.

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting base pay may be above or below this range. Base pay is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
