Job Description

As a Business Data Analyst at Teya, you'll be responsible for leveraging data analysis techniques to address business queries, identify improvement opportunities, and drive informed decision-making. Collaborating closely with stakeholders from Business, Operations and Finance, you'll dissect complex business issues, define requirements, and provide invaluable insights to support the success of our projects and initiatives. Your Mission:

Embark on an exciting journey with us, tackling diverse projects in Financial Reporting, Sales Analysis, Onboarding Funnels, Customer Activity, Churn, and Customer Operations. Your mission: to transform vast amounts of data into powerful insights that drive rapid growth, expansion, and scaling for our CZ and SK operations. As your daily bread and butter, you will:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, marketing, finance, and product management.
  • Support business stakeholders to effectively drive initiatives and promote actionable insights, identifying and prioritizing requirements, and owning a roadmap to completion.
  • Analyse external customer and internal business data to optimize and improve our distribution strategy.
  • Design predictive models to accurately forecast numbers and evaluate them against budget and actuals.
  • Communicate technical and non-technical information effectively to diverse audiences, facilitating meetings, workshops, and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Foster and promote a data-driven culture across the business, aiming for increased self-service and better interpretation of data insights.

Qualifications

Your Story:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience as a business analyst, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
  • Passionate about business development and the fintech industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and relevant analytical tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and non-technical information effectively.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to lead small to medium-sized projects independently.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
