Job Description
What will you be doing?
As we continue to expand our operations in the UK and grow our Independent Sales Agent (ISA) channel, we’re looking for our first Sales Trainer to join the team. Responsible for taking our independent sellers from the initial point of engagement through to making their first few sales, this is a fast-paced role where you will have the opportunity to build a a training programme from scratch. You will also be responsible for:
Designing, building and implementing a training programme for a high volume, transactional field sales team of varying levels of experience
Delivering engaging sales training through workshops, 1-2-1's and in-person group settings
Conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps and on-going training requirements
Developing content for training materials, manuals and ‘how’to’ guides whist being a product expert
Ensuring our sellers have the best possible experience from the start of their engagement with us up until they make their first sales at which point they will be passed to a dedicated Sales Manager
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Proven track record in a Sales Trainer or Sales Manager capacity, working with differing levels of sales experience
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a creative plan that aligns with the overall business objectives
Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and a willingness to take initiative in a dynamic and competitive market
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Knowledge of relevant industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics is preferable
Ability to travel as needed to meet with sellers, attend industry events and support the sales team in various locations
