Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for:

· The group’s budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives and internal stakeholders,

· Developing and maintaining budget models, incorporating historical data, KPIs and business initiatives,

· Working with business owners to analyse and monitor expenses, and identify areas for efficiency improvements,

· Providing ad hoc financial analysis for business leaders,

· Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards,

· Driving continuous improvement in FP&A processes, leveraging technology and automation where possible.

· Mentoring and developing junior FP&A team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Qualifications

· 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, budgeting and expense management

· Have a recognised accountancy or financial qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA,

· Experience in payments, fintech or financial services, and ideally in a fast-growth environment,

· Proven track record of leading budgeting processes and cost management initiatives in a dynamic business environment,

· A self-starter, capable of performing tasks with limited guidance and comfortable in a dynamic environment,

· High-level analytical and financial modelling skills with strong attention to detail,

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong cross-functional relationships,

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders,

· Experience implementing a budgeting tool an advantage.
