Job Description
Your Mission
As an Acquiring Host Specialist, you will be working with a strong team that has experience in Fintech and help shape the future of our Acquiring offering. You’ll help this team design and implement new features that will improve our Merchants' experience. You will:
Build new features in our Acquiring Host that are scalable and secure
Collaborate with Gateways that are integrating with our services
Certify or update integrations with the International Payment Schemes (Visa, Mastercard, etc)
Handle integrations with HSM providers
Improve current implementations to ensure International Payment Scheme (IPS) compliance
Act as a bridge between IPS implementation topics and the rest of the organization
Develop and implement metrics for monitoring performance and setting up alerting systems to ensure optimal operation and timely issue resolution
Document all the aforementioned processes and integrations, providing clear and comprehensive guides for internal use and compliance purposes

Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in implementation or operations roles in the FinTech industry
Good understanding of the overall payment transaction flow in the context of Acquiring and Issuing
Have experience with FinTech-related messaging protocols like ISO8583 or ISO20022, and also have an understanding of formats like JSON and XML
Experience with HSM and EMV tools along with cryptographic key management
Have experience with IPS simulators that are provided (e.g. Mastercard MCPS simulator)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on automation and process improvement
Ability to effectively contribute to product development cycles and collaborate with program initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals
Familiarity with FinTech industry standards and protocols in general (including but not limited to PCI-DSS, PCI-PIN, and PCI-3DS)
Having strong SQL skills for extracting actionable insights, this role demands a collaborative approach to transform data analysis into strategic product innovations
Nice to Have
Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, networking, and security
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure
