As a senior leader in our telecommunications and technology industry, you play a pivotal role in shaping our policy positions. Working closely with our executive and legal teams, you will drive the formulation of strategic policy decisions. Moreover, you will oversee the execution of North American regulatory compliance measures. Your collaboration with Telnyx's engineering divisions will be instrumental in implementing cutting-edge technologies while ensuring adherence to diverse regulatory commissions' standards.
In This Role You Will:
- Monitor emerging and long term needs in the area of licensing, compliance, and enforcement and contribute to the development of proposals (including policy, and regulatory initiatives)
Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders such as government officials, operators, Regional and International Agencies, and international development partners.
Provide analysis and appropriate updates on sector related issues, research and developments to the group; producing major reports where appropriate
Attend and contribute to various industry meetings to represent Telnyx and VoIP interests and advocate for the adoption of next-generation technology in the telecommunications network
Contribute to the surveillance and development of robust measures to combat fraudulent activities and spam, ensuring their prevention from either originating from or terminating to the Telnyx network.
You May Be A Fit For This Role If You Have:
Experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes within the telecommunications industry, coupled with a strong grasp of AI-driven technologies.
Proven track record in crafting and executing effective strategies to ensure compliance with evolving international telecommunications regulations and standards.
A solid understanding of the interplay between emerging AI technologies and telecom regulations, with a demonstrated ability to drive innovation while adhering to compliance protocols.
Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain regulatory policies that foster a secure and trustworthy VoIP network.
A strong background in leading initiatives that mitigate potential risks and threats, ensuring the integrity and security of a VoIP company's network amidst rapidly changing regulatory environments.
