We are seeking an experienced Perl Developer to contribute to our AI Model Training initiative by ensuring the quality and correctness of coding tasks and automation scripts used to evaluate AI solutions. This role is ideal for developers passionate about scripting best practices, code review, and leveraging Perl’s strengths in text and data processing to support cutting-edge AI innovation.

The Role

Combining Coding Expertise with AI Innovation

In this role, you will:

• Develop AI Training Content: Create detailed coding prompts and responses to guide AI learning, ensuring the models reflect a comprehensive understanding of various programming languages.
• Optimize AI Performance: Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance the model’s accuracy in coding contexts.
• Ensure Model Integrity: Test AI models for potential inaccuracies or biases, validating their applicability in the coding domain.

Your Profile

Experience:

• At least 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with extensive work in Perl programming.
• Strong proficiency in Perl, including object-oriented Perl, module development, and scripting for automation.
• Experience with text processing, log parsing, and data manipulation using Perl’s advanced regular expression capabilities.
• Familiarity with CPAN modules and their integration into larger systems.
• Expertise in optimizing Perl scripts for performance and maintainability.
• Experience with Perl testing tools such as Test::Simple, Test::More, or other testing frameworks.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback during reviews.

Common Requirements

• At least C1-level English proficiency for effective communication.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience with AI/LLM projects is preferred but not required.
