Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the Team

The Workplace Operations Program Management team's mission is to develop, optimize, and manage Workplace programs that enhance operational efficiency and scale user experiences globally. By implementing frictionless processes, we enable our users to thrive and actively contribute to the shared goals of Stripe.

What you’ll do

Within the Finance and Workplace organization, you will be an integral part of the Workplace Programs Team, a specialized subset of the broader Workplace Experience Team. Your primary focus will be the development and management of global onsite and event programs, alongside implementing critical processes and policies that guide the Workplace Team across 20+ locations. Ultimately, we strive to create work environments that are both inviting and functional, fostering collaboration, wellbeing, and productivity, all while adhering to the stringent safety, security, and confidentiality standards vital to our role in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for Workplace-supported onsites and events, setting the vision, strategy, and standards for how the Workplace team supports in-person gatherings and in-office events.
  • Design and implement scalable frameworks, playbooks, and guidelines for planning and executing team onsites, leadership gatherings, and company-wide events held in-office.
  • Build and maintain self-service tools, templates, and systems that enable teams to independently plan onsites and events while meeting global standards.
  • Establish and manage operating models that define roles, responsibilities, and cross-functional workflows for event and onsite planning within Workplace and across the organization.
  • Develop tiering models and event classification standards (e.g., size, scope, audience) to guide planning support levels, budgets, and required approvals.
  • Identify opportunities to centralize or streamline tools, support, and vendor partnerships across regions or sites.
  • Collaborate with leadership, project sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders to oversee onsite and event-related initiatives from inception through delivery. This includes defining scope, deliverables, resources, project briefs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and delegate project initiatives across teams, promoting strong stakeholder engagement by aligning diverse interests and managing expectations.
  • Develop and manage annual program or project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability in achieving defined goals.
  • Partner with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across initiatives; apply analytical skills to assess and mitigate risks while delivering clear, actionable reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee vendor management where applicable, including contract negotiations, statements of work (SOWs), and quarterly business reviews (QBRs), to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead the creation of feedback loops and evaluation mechanisms to measure impact and continuously improve the onsite and event experience.
  • Leverage event management tools and software to streamline processes and enhance existing systems.
  • Stay up to date on trends in workplace experience, hybrid collaboration, and internal events to inform innovation and best practices across the program.
