Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

In this role, you’d be joining the Internal Communications team. Our team connects Stripe's global workforce with the company's strategic product vision and priorities by developing and executing impactful internal communications programs that build awareness, understanding, and engagement across the organization. We relentlessly uphold our operating principles, and we keep Stripe weird!

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications programs that engage and inspire the Go to Market organization. You will support Stripe’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) by creating compelling content and facilitating impactful events that enhance our internal culture and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communications: Develop and execute strategic internal communications programs that connect, educate, and inspire Stripe’s revenue and sales organization.
  • Content Creation: Create clear and compelling written communications and produce engaging live events that support the CRO.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the CRO and the Go to Market leadership team to shape content and provide strategic counsel.
  • Cultural Alignment: Embody the Stripe culture and voice in all internal communications while coaching others to become ambassadors for our tone.
  • Business and Financial Fluency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Stripe's business model, revenue streams, product ecosystem, and the needs of our sellers to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences. Lead with curiosity to understand the depth and breadth of work across Stripe.
  • Project Management: Efficiently manage the planning and execution of internal communications programs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven experience in internal communications
  • Exceptional writing and content creation skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • A deep appreciation for and understanding of company culture and the ability to translate that into effective communication.
  • Excellent project management skills with a strong focus on execution and results.

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of marketing, sales development, and the architecture of a sales organization is preferred.
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $150,500 - $225,700. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
