The Role
Palantir is seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Analyst to play a key role on our reporting team, focusing on the preparation and review of financial statements, including SEC filings. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with GAAP and disclosure requirements, including related to share-based payments, as well as coordinating with auditors for quarterly and annual reviews.

Core Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation or review of quarterly financial statements, including all SEC filings (Form 10Q, 10K, Proxy, etc.)
- Prepare or review disclosure checklists and ensure compliance with all GAAP and disclosure requirements.
- Prepare or review journal entries, accounting analyses, and reconciliations related to stock-based compensation, earnings per share, stock repurchases and other equity-based transactions.
- Manage quarterly reporting checklists, auditor reviews to ensure timely completion of quarter-end reporting activities. Monitor and revise existing procedures to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to accounting standards and proactively identify potential impacts to the Company’s financial statements.
- Ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting as required by management.
What We Value
- Prior Public accounting / audit experience with Big 4 highly desired.
- Experience with public company stock administration and expense reporting, and SEC reporting tools are preferred.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate with management and others in the company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a great team player.
- Self-starter with proactive approach to problem identification and remediation solutions.
What We Require
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with CPA license.
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Background with SEC filings (S-1, 10K, 10Q, XBRL tagging).

Salary
The starting salary for this position is estimated to be $85,000/year. Total compensation includes approximately $10,000/year of equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units, based on the recent value of the company’s stock at the time of grant. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by candidate’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
