Job Summary:
The Enablement Manager will own and reimagine OpenGov’s new hire journey, making every first impression unforgettable—from day zero to fully ramped. This role is the architect of our onboarding experience, leading the design and delivery of dynamic, human-centered programs that ensure every new employee feels equipped, connected, and inspired by our mission..
As a key member of the Talent Enablement & Strategy team, the Enablement Manager will bring together curriculum design, live facilitation, LMS integration, and certifications to deliver a world-class onboarding experience. You’ll be the driving force behind our in-person onboarding experiences, digital learning tools, and time-to-productivity strategy—ensuring onboarding is not just a moment, but a movement. Responsibilities:
Lead the design, delivery, and evolution of a set number of employee engagement programs, including onboarding, emerging leader training, and skill development.
Build and manage reinforcement cadences and behavior-change programs for enterprise initiatives.
Manage training logistics and execution for upskilling and internal development sessions.
Lead the execution of a two-day in-person onboarding program in San Francisco for new employees, partnering with senior leaders and guest facilitators.
Manage and continuously improve the Onboarding Hub, onboarding checklist, and LMS onboarding paths.
Establish program success metrics (e.g., time-to-productivity, NPS, engagement) and build regular reporting for internal stakeholders.
Partner with department leaders and HR to ensure a seamless employee learning experience from onboarding through the life cycle of the employee.
Create toolkits, resources, and training for managers to support consistent and effective onboarding and skill development.
Requirements and Preferred Experience
5+ years of experience in employee onboarding, training, or talent development roles.
Strong facilitation skills with comfort leading live sessions that are engaging and drive behavior change.
Demonstrated experience designing onboarding programs at scale for diverse audiences and functions.
Experience managing content and workflows in LMS platforms and internal onboarding hubs.
Strong project management skills and a bias for iteration and continuous improvement.
Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from onboarding data and drive program decisions.
Passion for creating memorable, inclusive employee experiences.
