Job Summary:

We’re hiring an Office Manager to lead daily operations and cultural experience at OpenGov’s growing Atlanta office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves creating seamless experiences, and brings a blend of operational precision, hospitality mindset, and creative problem-solving to everything they do.

At OpenGov, our culture is everything, and our offices are extensions of that culture. As the Culture Champion, you will be the connective tissue that keeps the office running smoothly and our people feeling welcomed, supported, and inspired. You must have a passion for continually ideating new ways to create experiences and environments that foster connection, engagement and productivity.

This is a hands-on, detail-obsessed, people-first role. You’ll be responsible for managing the full spectrum of office needs—from supplies and vendors to events and facilities—while collaborating asynchronously with peers across our global office portfolio to implement scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Admin & Culture Ops

  • Own general office administration with excellence and hospitality top-of-mind

  • Welcome guests, candidates, and new hires. Provide thoughtful, high-touch office tours

  • Monitor and procure office materials and food/beverage supplies

  • Source and manage vendor relationships. Drive the procurement approval process

  • Identify and implement cost-savings strategies. Manage and track to the provided budget.

  • Be an ambassador for company culture, including planning and executing office events and experiences— from weekly team lunches to onsite meetings and monthly get togethers—with creativity and flawless logistics. Drive excitement and engagement

  • Design, document, communicate and monitor clear admin procedures and policies

  • Foster strong internal and external relationships, effectively collaborating across departments and levels to understand needs and ensure support of their objectives

  • Serve as a calm, confident presence in the office—able to manage competing requests, set boundaries with professionalism, and explain decisions with clarity, empathy, and a hospitality-first mindset

  • Serve as the central point of contact with building and property management, interfacing with building portals and tools, and address in-office logistics, inquiries and escalations

  • Identify recurring issues and elevate them into team-wide learnings or scalable fixes across locations

  • Help support a remote office location with events and ordering needs, and other offices’ Office Managers during PTO

Facilities

  • Oversee maintenance and repairs within the office

  • Ensure the office is clean, well-stocked, organized, and aligned with OpenGov’s brand standards

  • Proactively address day-to-day maintenance and service needs. Respond to and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring timely follow-through and follow up

  • Help support onsite IT issues - mostly related to Zoom

What Sets You Apart

  • You love events and logistics, and your passion shows in the way you plan, communicate, and execute.

  • You embody unreasonable hospitality—seeking ways to delight employees and visitors before they even know what they need.

  • You think systemically: when a challenge arises, you solve it and ask, “Is this a one-off or a pattern? How can we collaborate to solve this in every office?”

  • You are meticulous about the details—whether it’s budget entries, formatting on a document, or making sure the snacks and supplies are stocked.

  • You work well independently, but thrive in a distributed team—collaborating asynchronously and proactively to solicit input and keep others informed.

  • You care deeply about your workplace’s energy, functionality, and inclusivity.

  • You are data driven - always seeking ways to measure impact and use that data to inform priorities and improvements.

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, facilities, or high-level administrative support

  • Action driven & results oriented

  • Strong background with Google Suite tools and asynchronous collaboration

  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping, procurement and purchasing

  • Strong written and verbal communication and people skills - you are an influencer for good

  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities. Highly detail oriented

  • Agile mindset. You easily adjust as the business needs pivot

  • Experience managing an office move, is a plus

  • Full time role, 5 days in-office required

$80k - $84.5k

On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.

The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
