This position requires a minimum of 3 days a week working onsite in OpenGov's Boston, MA office.
Job Summary:
OpenGov is looking to hire an experienced Customer Certifications and University Program Manager who is responsible for managing OpenGov University and building a world-class customer education credentialing program to help our customers truly maximize OpenGov and create a more empowered and modernized government.
Your role will be to orchestrate the development of our customer certification and badging program and OpenGov University. This will include live, in-person certifications with supporting resources in OpenGov University and virtual, on-demand learning opportunities for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Director of Customer Enablement to own & optimize OpenGov University and credentialing program.
Active owner of OpenGov University functionality, look & feel, and user experience.
Regularly report on OpenGov University performance and partner with the internal data analysis team to identify and build additional reporting needs.
Report on and communicate the results of the credentialing program to cross-functional partners and iterate as needed.
Design, launch, and manage OpenGov’s digital credentialing (badging and certification) strategy and programs.
Maintain badges and certifications as OpenGov’s product changes.
Manage 3-5 major projects each quarter across Skilljar and credential programs (certificates and badging).
Manage request workflow for new content, updated content, and UI/UX improvements in OpenGov University.
Work with learning experience designers and subject-matter experts to develop new badges and certifications, including exam blueprints, content curation, and question-writing workshops.
Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and our GTM teams to bring new credentialing programs to market.
Drive relationships and improvements with our LMS (Skilljar).|
Test early and often, with a bias toward action and learning.
Some Projects You Would Work On:
Launch two admin certification programs, including new OpenGov University site pages, program documentation, assessments, and certification design.
Manage internal and customer-facing university domains.
Revamp the OpenGov University home page and identify opportunities for site improvement.
Build a badging strategy for OpenGov University.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years’ experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) tools such as Skilljar and certification programs such as Credly (preferably in a SaaS environment).
Experience operationalizing a credentialing program from higher (certification) to lower (badging) stakes.
History of building and leading successful, innovative universities with credentialing.
Excellent consultative and communication skills both with customers and internal teams.
Excellent project management and program management skills.
Agile, comfortable with ambiguity, adept prioritization skills, and a strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion.
