Note: This role is an individual contributor role. As such, this person should have a go-getter mentality and be ready and willing to “get their hands dirty” when they join.
As the Senior Sales Enablement Specialist, you will be responsible for building and delivering a sales enablement program that will create an impact on Bird’s sales organisation, setting it up for success and continued growth.
What you’ll do
Own Bird’s sales process and enhance the process and tools that are required by our sales force to impact speed and conversion
Partner with global sales leaders to assess sales capability gap, create and execute programs to improve productivity
Build and deliver training content, including facilitator’s guides, product guides, knowledge bases etc., that support scalable, repeatable, consistent and effective delivery of the material through a modularised approach
Develop and implement global training programs for new hires, as well as the ongoing development of the current sales force
Work closely with Sales Operations to monitor objectives, results and the impact of programmes against ramp time and productivity expectations
Train the trainers – develop and lead ways of ensuring that sales managers and other subject-matter experts (SMEs) serve as excellent presenters and facilitators
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new product offerings, company processes and the industry as a whole, and transfer this to the entire Sales organisation
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Training: Develop, implement, and continuously improve sales training programs, including onboarding for new sales hires, ongoing skill development, and product knowledge training.
Content Creation: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create sales collateral, playbooks, and training materials that empower the sales team to communicate our value proposition effectively.
Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and refine our sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Sales Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between sales and other departments, including marketing, product, and customer support.
Metrics and Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales enablement, regularly evaluating the impact of training and enablement programs.
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including sales leadership, marketing, product management, and customer success, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategy.
What you’ll bring
5+ years of relevant experience in sales enablement in the B2B saas industry
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Proven track record in developing and delivering impactful sales enablement programs in a fast growth companies
Track record of coaching SaaS sales organisations and impacting the sales force ramp to full quota
Demonstrable track record in leadership, influencing and communication
Aptitude for applying tools to achieve optimal results and hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
Planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Ability to work autonomously
High level of proven flexibility and adaptability in a changing international environment
Able to create and foster strong cross-functional networks and manage without authority
Executive presence: the ability to work side-by-side with senior team leads
