Global Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a compliance point of contact for teams across 20+ countries providing expert compliance advice, on topics included but not limited to conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, sanctions, risk management and regulatory changes.
Draft, review, and update internal compliance policies, procedures, and guidance documents. Ensure all policies are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
Support with the monitoring of applicable UK, EU, and US sanctions regulations. Manage the sanctions screening process and any necessary due diligence.
Conduct regular actionable reporting on compliance metrics to senior management.
Support with the company's ABC program, including risk assessments, third-party due diligence, and internal controls.
Develop and lead internal compliance audits as required.
Conduct fair, thorough, independent and evidence based investigations into potential compliance violations or allegations in line with applicable policies, laws and regulations.
Efficiently draft comprehensive, high-quality compliance investigation reports that clearly document findings, and actionable recommendations to improve processes.
Design and deliver compliance training sessions to employees at all levels, and across the global business.
Create engaging training materials and track employee completion.
Manage the intake, assessment, and resolution process for all internal compliance disclosures, ensuring confidentiality and timely action.
Partner closely and effectively with key stakeholders including Legal, HRBPs, ER, Privacy and Security teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a compliance role within a multinational business.
Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience in sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud, and internal investigations. Experience with policy writing and training delivery is essential.
Education: A degree in law, finance, or a related field. Professional compliance certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are highly desirable.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
