About the Role:
Lyra is seeking a Program Specialist to join the Workforce Transformation team. This role offers the unique opportunity to oversee the operational processes that ensure the quality of our live educational events, lead the growth of our presenter team, and contribute to the development of evidence-based learning content. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the coordination, management, and scaling of live learning programs as well as previous experience on-boarding and training event facilitators, tailoring wellness and/or mental health content for lay audiences, and collaborating effectively and efficiently with stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the coordination of live educational events, including customer communications, staffing, and delivery
- Manage a small team responsible for event scheduling
- Maintain systems and processes to enhance the efficiency of event delivery and ensure quality
- Assist with customizing psychoeducational training content and written materials to audience needs based on industry, role, and/or social identity
- Partner closely with Program Managers to recruit, train, evaluate and oversee educational staff
- Partner closely with Operations Team to design new and optimize existing operational and quality assurance processes for timely and accurate service delivery
- Ensure compliance with contracting, accounting, and legal processes, including contract workflows, invoicing, and revenue tracking systems
- Troubleshoot problems related to aforementioned processes and systems, independently and efficiently
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years previous experience with developing, coordinating and managing live training and educational events
- Previous experience in internal operations and external customer facing roles
- Experience with L&D related to wellness, mental health, or health care
- Highly organized, resourceful, self-starter able to multitask and work efficiently in environments where priorities change to meet operational needs
- Ability to innovate and creatively propose solutions, increase efficiency, and solve problems in a highly collaborative manner
- Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to work successfully on cross functional teams
- Familiarity with commonly used webinar and virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom), Salesforce, and Asana
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced training in clinical or counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, clinical social work, or organizational development
- Professional experience working with external stakeholders as a consultant on mental health and/or organizational behavior
- Experience with:
- Live training, events management, and operations for Fortune 500 companies or large corporate training/organizational development groups
- Wellness, mental health, and/or healthcare content creation for lay audiences
- Tailoring psychoeducational content to based on the needs of a diverse workforce including specific needs related to industry, role, and/or social identity
- Evaluating and providing supportive, constructive feedback to clinicians, facilitators or instructors
- Knowledgeable of quality improvement and program evaluation best practices
- Strong analytical (Excel/Tableau) and project management skills (Asana)
