About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for a Strategic Alliance Manager, to manage relationships with benefit consultants. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with benefit consultants, experience working in the healthcare and employee benefits space, clear and effective presentation and communication skills, as well as a proven ability to cultivate strong relationships.
This role will be a great fit for you if you are organized, detail-oriented and resourceful. Ultimately, you will be responsible for driving growth through the consultant channel, into our sales team and help bring Lyra to the next level.
Note: This role covers the Midwest region and reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances. Role requires that you live in the Midwest Region of the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Lyra’s relationship with our benefit consultant and broker partners within the Midwest region
  • Increase Lyra market share by supporting Partnership Directors in identifying and developing new sales opportunities via the consultant channel
  • Manage and maintain region-specific consultant information
  • Regional strategy execution in partnership with the Midwest Regional Director
  • Work closely with internal partners including - marketing, client success, legal, accounts payable, etc. to deliver on Go-To-Market goals
  • Plan, attend and lead various educational meetings, capabilities presentations, sponsorships, and networking events both in person and virtually
  • Demonstrate a broad comprehension of employee benefit consultant/broker needs, employer benefits space, healthcare acumen, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience within the employee benefit consultant/broker space
  • Previous consultant experience is preferred
  • Work experience in the Midwest market
  • A proven track record of success with complex and strategic sales or account management
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural effective consultative style
  • Ability to energize, communicate and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with highly-talented professionals
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
  • Willingness to travel
