What we do

As Product Marketing Manager, you'll be executing key aspects of Kentik’s go-to-market strategy — including creating engaging content, enabling our global sales team with messaging and positioning, and competitive research to help Kentik win. You’ll join a high-performing team of product marketers to deliver positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, and exceptional sales enablement. You’ll also partner with product marketing leadership in key areas like analyst relations, technical content, and high-impact product launches.
You are eager to make your mark in the network performance space and excited to design, develop, and deliver go-to-market plays for Kentik’s strategic industries and partner ecosystems. You are forever curious about the challenges faced by network, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams. You love creating narratives, you excel at crafting messaging that resonates, and you take the extra steps to deeply understand customer pain points and use cases. You are curious, discerning, and love to win as a team.

What you'll do

  • Enable and execute product marketing tradecraft, including positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategy, storytelling, and product launches; support integrated marketing and demand campaigns
  • Consistent communicate value propositions that differentiate Kentik
  • Expand our strong relationships across Kentik marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams
  • Design and develop outstanding external-facing content, including core collateral, customer stories, webinars, e-books, videos, and more
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to craft compelling stories
  • Support the sales team on customer use cases, Kentik values propositions with value-centric positioning and content to win enterprise customers

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of product marketing experience to technical audiences, preferably network and cloud team
  • Ability to transform products and solutions into narratives that resonate with practitioners and decision makers
  • Content creation experience - technical analysis, guidance, and how-to blogs that build trust with and educate network and cloud teams
  • Understanding of network infrastructure, including hybrid cloud, Internet, edge, WAN/SD-WAN, as well as network concepts, including routing, switching, BGP, MPLS, and NetFlow/IPFIX/sFlow
  • Confidence in your understanding of network, cloud, and security teams
  • Curiosity and empathy, and a willingness to directly contribute to projects
  • Customer-obsessed mindset, puzzle-solving skills, and always-on storytelling

Our compensation philosophy encompasses a fair program for all in order to attract, engage and retain talented individuals who will drive our business and wow our customers.

The compensation range for this position is: $150,000 - $250,000. This range reflects the low and high end of the U.S. compensation range Kentik reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role. The actual compensation offered may be lower or higher than the stated range depending on various factors, including but not limited to:

  • Experience with the skill sets required for success
  • Demonstrated competencies and potential
  • A geographic market-based approach
