About The Role

Senior Analyst will focus on to help grow JustAnswer’s sizable paid advertising efforts and maximizing advertising effectiveness and shaping impactful strategies. The ideal candidate will be an expert in advanced PPC strategies, particularly in utilizing Smart Bidding techniques to maximize campaign performance and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). If you are adept at leveraging data-driven insights to optimize paid search campaigns and drive profitable growth, we encourage you to apply. In this role, they will work closely with analytics team, engineering team, product teams, content team and Country Managers to ensure our marketing efforts are integrated and mutually supportive and will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Acquisition.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement, and manage PPC campaigns and budgets with a significant focus on leveraging effective smart bidding strategies across different channels like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other PPC platforms.
  • Continuously test and optimize bids, keywords, text ads, image ads, and landing pages to achieve key KPIs.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to monitor and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to adjust bids, budgets, and strategies. Own forecasting, OKR-setting, and reporting leading insights for business reviews.
  • Drive improvements to internal reporting and analytics from PPC perspective.
  • Stay abreast of PPC innovations and smart bidding trends to maintain and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of PPC strategies with the overall digital marketing goals.
  • Train and mentor, a team of PPC analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Embrace a data-driven test-and-learn approach to targeting, and messaging. Conduct thorough google A/B testing related to bidding strategies, ad copy, and landing pages to drive incremental improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in digital marketing and automation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s/master's or advanced degrees in Business, Marketing and Analytics or related degree.
  • 6-10 years of experience in performance marketing strategy / Growth in a high-growth startup, product organization, or strategy consulting firm.
  • Structured problem-solving and result oriented approach with effective communication skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Excel & other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Analytical skills to interpret PPC data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to take up high ownership.
  • Fundamental knowledge of SQL and any other analytical/visualization tools.
  • Enthusiastic about learning new skills and solving challenging problems in an ever-changing environment of PPC.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with LLMs like GPT (prompting techniques, GPTs)
  • Having a foundational understanding of Scripting & Automation and web development languages that can facilitate collaboration with engineering/UX team when implementing changes or optimizations related to PPC campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Compliance and Privacy Laws regulations like GDPR/CCPA etc.
  • Language Expertise – German and Spanish (not a must have).
