About the Role:

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in optimizing accounting operations, supporting scalability, and enabling impactful change at a fast growing company. This is a highly visible role that partners with Operations, Procurement, Legal, FP&A and other stakeholders across the organization. This is an individual contributor role that carries the role of Team Lead; while you will not have any direct reports, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and workflow of the GL team. Key Responsibilities:

GL Operations

  • Support timely and accurate Month-end Close by overseeing the accounting and review of expense, AP, and lease journal entries as well as intercompany transactions, eliminations and consolidations; perform and review fluctuation analysis
  • Review account reconciliations, ensuring balances are substantiated with supporting third party evidence and clear documentation
  • Manage vendor onboarding/offboarding procedures as well as Accounts Payable function in Coupa
  • Maintain company-wide T&E policy and serve as the Subject Matter Expert over T&E system, Navan, to drive compliance and serve as primary point of contact for all related inquiries
  • Assist with the preparation of schedules and other pertinent information for external audits and regulatory filings
  • Liaise and serve as main point of contact with our accounting vendor partners (Numeric, Navan)
  • Establish and report on team KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and drive performance
  • Document and assist in the review of company accounting policies

Treasury / Banking

  • Oversee disbursements (AP, payroll, customer refunds, vendor payments, ad hoc requests) and ensure timely remittance in accordance with established deadlines
  • Prepare cash forecast and actuals inputs to support liquidity management and strategic decision making
  • Monitor and track LOC covenants to ensure compliance
  • Manage account administration and serve as main point of contact for our banking partners

Project Work

  • Lead process transformation and system improvement initiatives within GL and Treasury operations; champion and drive automation and AI solutions
  • Be a hands-on leader for project work, from initial planning and research to final implementation
  • Participate as key contributor on cross-functional projects such as T&E coordination for our company-wide annual conference

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
  • Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Strong background in GL and accounting operations; international subsidiary operations a plus.
  • Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred; experience with Numeric and Navan a plus.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a willingness to dive into details and learn new areas, and contribute with the best interest of team and Company in mind.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and listening skills; able to work effectively across functions and with all levels within the organization.
  • Project management and organizational skills; able to prioritize and adapt quickly in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • High standards for quality and accuracy; keen attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind; takes pride in delivering thoughtful, reliable work.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $110,500 - $168,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
