How you will make a difference:

As the Head of Sales Development, you will be responsible for building, leading and developing our Inbound and Outbound Sales Development Organization. These teams all play a significant role in how we achieve our sales targets. This role will help drive Iterable’s customer acquisition strategy and continue to scale our evolution as we continue to grow globally.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Lead and build a growing and diverse team of Sales Development Managers and SDR’s (Second level leadership position).
  • Ensure alignment with Sales Leadership as we expand into new markets
  • Alignment with our Agency Partner team to drive new Agency opportunities
  • Partner with the Sales Leadership to design and architect a future demand generation vision for Iterable and execute against it.
  • Continue to evolve our Sales Development organization so we can effectively hit our pipeline creation goals across our Emerging, Growth, and Enterprise segments globally
  • Directly manage and develop cross-functional customer acquisition projects and deploy coordinated campaigns into our Growth and Enterprise segments while leaning on automation for our high velocity segments.
  • Build a team that grows into highly impactful Account Executives and leaders. Develop the next generation of diverse Iterable Sales and Management talent
  • Work closely and collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, revenue operations, enablement, Human Resources and Recruiting teams as key partners in hitting team goals
  • Own regional annual planning, budget responsibility, recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding execution
  • Be part of the global sales executive team and influence key strategic decisions for the Iterable sales organization
  • Foster a healthy organizational culture and strong learning environment.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue attribution, to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and insights to senior leadership.

We Are Looking For People Who Have:

  • People management experience at scale and a passion for creating a diverse and inclusive team environment with at least 5 years of leadership experience in Sales Development
  • Experience developing GTM motions and strategies that apply to both large customer acquisition and low touch small customer acquisition
  • Experience leveraging data and systems in innovative ways to drive growth and scale.
  • A strong track record of growth and overachieving targets in a high velocity, high-growth business
  • A proven playbook for hiring, coaching, and mentoring, and promoting within Sales Development
  • Strategic mindset to help drive Iterable customer acquisition strategy
  • A deep understanding of customer needs to design sales processes which solve for customers first
  • The ability to motivate and align a team to a vision and manage effectively through change
  • Previous experience working in SaaS industries, MarTech preferred
  • Proficiency speaking and presenting your business to Sales Leadership and Executives

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $184,000 - $253,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
