How you will make an impact:

​​We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting to the VP of Finance, to join our scaling SaaS organization. As a finance leader in our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing financial strategies. Responsibilities include financial planning, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strategic financial insights to support our growth, manage financial risk, and contribute to the overall success of the company. This role will need to be effective in communicating with senior management, and consistent in bringing new insights to the table, while continuing to deliver on day-to-day duties. Responsibilities:

  • Own forecasting and reporting process for ARR, GAAP revenue, and Cost of Goods Sold, including managing assumptions and drivers. Manage/refine all aspects related to Revenue and COGS assumptions/drivers in financial planning and analysis application (Adaptive)
  • Oversee budget and performance reporting process for R&D teams, including Engineering and Product business units. Partner closely with business unit leaders to develop annual budgets, quarterly forecast updates, and multi-year planning
  • Partner closely with Accounting on journal entries and accruals
  • Develop and refine cash flow and balance sheet forecasting. Manage monthly and quarterly detailed cash forecasting processes
  • Support company-wide KPI reporting and provide updates periodically via town hall discussions
  • Guide data and metrics for business intelligence
  • Drive executive reporting dashboards and documents including Board, close, and other management presentations
  • Provide direct support for key pricing initiatives and product cost analysis.
  • Drive cost-efficiency initiatives across the entire organization
  • Play a key role in the forecasting and reporting elements for IPO readiness. Project manage all aspects of the process for FP&A/Procurement
  • Drive quarterly forecast updates for the 409a process
  • Manage and mentor financial analyst
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and value-add of the function

We are looking for people who have:

  • BS in Accounting/Finance, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A/finance, investment banking, or equivalent, with the majority of experience in SaaS/enterprise software.
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • ​​Progressive operational and leadership experience including leading finance functions and managing direct reports
  • Deeply fluent in SaaS KPIs including retention and acquisition metrics
  • Strong executive presence in communicating business objectives and performance with key stakeholders including Board of Directors, investors, and employees
  • Ability to provide financial data with a focus on driving business decisions
  • Adept at collaborating with key partners in business intelligence, deal desk, procurement, and other internal stakeholders
  • Proactive approach and strong follow-through skills
  • Roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and ability to adapt quickly to changes in business priorities and conditions
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and G-Suite applications
  • Experience implementing and working with a SaaS-based financial planning application. Experience in Adaptive a plus

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $165,000 - $206,500. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
