Your next career:
As fabric’s Director of Corporate Finance, you have the desire and ability to grow a business through partnership, analysis, and sound business fundamentals.
In this role, you will own and evolve our planning and forecasting processes, measure and present financial and non-financial metrics, and drive business insights across the company to build, optimize, and scale a go-to-market model that enables retail and ecommerce businesses to grow.
You will serve as a financial interface between Finance and other highly cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for delivering value-added analyses that lead to thoughtful decision-making. You will bring best practices to operating the business and advise on business strategy. You will monitor performance against the initiatives of the company and will be one of the principal financial voices on the leadership team. The Director of Corporate Finance is a key strategic partner to the CFO.

Your responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning: Own the development of financial plans and models aligned with the company's growth objectives. Collaborate with leadership to assess the financial implications of strategic initiatives and fundraising activities.
- Metrics and KPIs: Manage and establish new financial metrics and performance indicators to assess the health and efficiency of the business. Report on KPIs to executive leadership, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Financial Systems Implementation: Implement and optimize FP&A tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems with business operations.
- Scenario Analysis for Scaling: Develop and maintain financial models that support scenario analysis for various growth strategies and scaling scenarios. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of scaling operations.
- Dynamic Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to real-time data requests and perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making. Contribute to cross-functional initiatives as the finance representative, providing financial insights.
- Investor Relations Support: Assist in the preparation of materials for investor presentations, including board meetings and fundraising efforts. Work closely with the Operations organization to provide accurate and timely financial information to investors.
What you bring to the table:
- +7 years experience of progressive financial positions at public companies, high-growth private companies, and/or in the investment banking, investing, and consulting industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related technical field. MBA, a plus.
- Deep understanding of building a SaaS business. Understanding of US GAAP, a plus.
- Proven ownership of financial reporting, processes, models, and key metrics in multi-faceted businesses.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and a strong command of Excel and other financial software.
- Independent and critical judgment within established systems to make recommendations that improve processes.
- Managerial and executive presence to persuade others to achieve excellence and to foster an environment of openness and teamwork.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all areas and levels of the company.
The base salary for this role will be between USD $170K to USD $ 228K
