About the Role

Ethos is seeking an Insurance Process Investigation Specialist to assist our CX Compliance Team in conducting detailed investigations, aimed at identifying breakdowns and to size the extent of issues surfaced. The person in this role will also be tasked with helping strategize and implement solutions to help cure the issues discovered. The successful individual will apply their ability to investigate issues with minimal guidance to find the core issues and solutions. In this role you will be responsible for understanding the ‘ideal state’ of the process and identify exactly where gaps occurred to help mitigate risk for the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete investigations into issues that surface and impact Ethos’ administration of policies
  • Collaborate with various teams to assess the issue's scope.
  • Work with product and compliance teams to help determine whether there are financial or compliance implications to issues surfaced
  • Identify and create manual procedures to address any impacts of issues surfaced
  • Help determine priority of the implementation of technology fixes or manual workarounds to ensure continued compliance
  • Meet individual and team quality goals to ensure a positive, compliant customer experience
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Support internal product development efforts, including testing and QA

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) experience in US insurance industry
  • 3+ years experience in operations, customer support, customer success, or related role
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to intuitively make connections based on findings
  • Use of data to inform and support critical decisions
  • Project manage assigned tasks and established timelines
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency using MS Office tools and Google Docs Editors/Drive
