The Director of Strategy & Operations OCEO at DataRobot is an outcome-oriented individual who will work both within the Office of the CEO and across the organization. This individual will drive/support OCEO activities, assist with the creation/evolution of the strategy and priority initiatives, help oversee planning and operations, and problem-solve critical issues and escalations. The ideal candidate will have proven success in both operational and program management roles with a balance of strategic, analytical, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in the development and evolution of the DataRobot’s strategy, mission, vision from ideation to formalization to distribution

  • Assist in the strategic planning and execution of ELT meetings, from weekly virtual touchpoints and quarterly in-person offsites (e.g. priorities, agenda, coordination of pre-work, definition of goals/outcomes, logistics, etc.)

  • Help define the strategy, approach, agenda and create/collate the content for key external (e.g. CEO keynotes) and internal (e.g. company-wide meetings) sessions

  • Assist with project management, storylining, analysis, insights, and content creation for board-level meetings

  • Craft/Review executive-level communications (e.g. emails, presentations, board updates) and review and/or ghost-write communications for the CEO

  • Work with the ELT on enterprise-level communications (e.g. internal org changes, external media, etc.) to ensure alignment to strategy and prioritization of key points

  • Partner with the VP of Strategy & Operations to improve DataRobot current processes and optimize for efficiency and productivity (e.g. sales funnel conversion rate)

  • Take on strategic projects (short/medium term) as defined by the CEO/ELT, serving as the DRI and/or the program manager

  • Assist with M&A transactions (if any) across the lifecycle of sourcing, execution and integration

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience across management consulting and/or tech companies

  • Structured critical thinker with superior problem solving and analytical/insight capabilities

  • Superior communications skills and ability to clearly and succinctly articulate concepts

  • Extreme ownership mindset with very strong project management and organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex and ambiguous challenges with a bias for action

  • Domain knowledge in data, analytics and AI/ML is strongly preferred but not required

  • Operating experience in a go-to-market role (e.g., Account Management, Sales) is ideal

  • Understanding of the DataRobot business, operating model and go-to-market approach

  • Bachelors degree required (technical and/or business major is ideal); MBA is beneficial
