As a Government Contracts Specialist at Dataminr you will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of our federal, state and local government contracts. You will be a trusted advisor to our Public Sector Go-To-Market team and other internal stakeholders. This is an opportunity to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role will be based out of our Arlington, VA office with some flexibility to work remotely.

The opportunity

• Support the Public Sector Go-To-Market team in reviewing and completing RFQs and RFPs for Dataminr's services, including analyzing proposal requirements, preparing appropriate responses and facilitating the overall proposal process

• Monitor and ensure Dataminr's compliance with its contractual, statutory and regulatory obligations

• Identify, avoid and mitigate risks and issues pertaining to the review and negotiation of Dataminr's legal agreements that arise from the company’s work with government entities

• Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties, providing continual review to ensure all terms and conditions are met

• Maintain contract and proposal tracking, filing, reporting, copying and shipping

• Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods and processes

What you bring

• 2-4 years of experience as a contracts professional in government marketplaces with demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and/or local government contracts and electronic proposals;

• Knowledge of drafting contractual documents, terms and conditions in accordance with company policy

• Experience providing commercial services to government clients

• Proposal writing experience and previous interaction with sales organizations a plus

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Experience in a SaaS/high-growth technology environment a plus

New York/California/Washington: $72,000-84,000
