We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Operations Manager to support our Engineering Executive in effectively managing and leading our engineering organization. This is a critical role in coordinating strategic initiatives, ensuring efficient operations, and facilitating effective communication between the executive and various stakeholders. This position requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills, as well as an understanding of engineering processes and technology.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

● Collaborate with the Engineering Executive to develop and execute strategic plans, goals, and initiatives for the engineering organization.
● Conduct research and analysis, and provide recommendations on key strategic projects and initiatives.
● Monitor progress on strategic objectives, identify potential roadblocks, and propose solutions to ensure timely execution.

Operational Efficiency:

● Streamline and optimize operational processes across the engineering organization to improve efficiency and productivity.
● Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and resource allocation to enhance overall performance.
● Develop and implement standardized reporting mechanisms to track and communicate key performance metrics.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

● Act as a primary point of contact and liaison between the Engineering Executive and internal/external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, partners, and customers.
● Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, presentations, and reports on behalf of the Engineering Executive.
● Facilitate effective communication channels within the engineering organization and ensure key messages are disseminated.

Program Management:

● Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of critical engineering projects.
● Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timelines.
● Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and provide guidance on mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced
degree preferred.
● Proven experience in engineering operations or similar role, supporting engineering operations in a fast-paced environment.
● Understanding of engineering processes, methodologies, and technology trends.
● Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
● Demonstrated program management expertise, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
● Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
● Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
● Proficiency in program management tools, collaboration software, and data analysis tools.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
