About the role

Chronosphere, the leading cloud-native observability platform, announced that it has acquired Calyptia, a leading provider of telemetry pipeline solutions. Calyptia is founded by the original creators of the Fluent Ecosystem, which includes the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) graduated projects Fluent Bit and Fluentd. The vendor-agnostic Fluent projects are lightweight and highly scalable log processors. They allow organizations to collect telemetry from multiple sources and distribute them to any defined destination. With more than 13 billion downloads, Fluent Bit is the preferred telemetry agent for cloud-native environments.

We are looking for a specialized Pipeline Enterprise AE to focus on key strategic opportunities for Calyptia. As an early member of the team, this is a great opportunity for a builder who wants to have an outsized impact on the business.

You Will

  • Master Calyptia’s target market, business drivers, and strategies so that you can develop, intrigue, and position Calyptia as a value-added solution with potential customers.

  • Work closely with an SE to create a technical selling strategy, including custom demos and effective pilots.

  • Manage multiple customer engagements at the same time.

  • Close business to meet and exceed bookings objectives.

  • Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.

  • Effectively transition customers to the CSE team.

  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to support and grow accounts after close.

  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product organization on customer insights, feature requests, and content strategy.

You have

  • 4+ years of specialized Logging or highly technical selling experience.

  • Proven success selling a complex technical solution to Enterprise customers.

  • Experience closing new logos.

  • Proven track record consistently meeting quota quarter over quarter.

  • A passion for building relationships and driving business.

  • A growth mentality with the instinct to be creative.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written skills.

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities, while maintaining a high sense of urgency.

  • Organizational skills and a results-oriented, self-starter attitude.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to Have

  • Overlay experience.

  • Experience at an early-stage startup (Series A-C).
