About the Role:

We’re looking for a Product Design Team Lead to drive the product design vision, strategy, and execution for BigPanda. You will lead a talented team of designers, guide their efforts, foster best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences that align with business goals and user needs.

What you will do:

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture
• Establish and evolve processes to help the Design and Product teams rapidly build and ship best-in-class user experiences
• Preserve and enhance our approach to experimentation, prototyping, and user-research to validate design concepts and influence product vision
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the design process, ensuring that products meet user expectations and needs
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to understand business goals and market trends, translating them into effective design strategies

What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:

• Proven A design portfolio that illustrates functional and usable experiences, created both as an individual contributor, and via teams you have led
• 10+ years of product design experience
• 4+ years managing and building multi-disciplinary design teams
• Ability to discuss and show case experience with user-centered design principles and best practices in cross functional teams
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and foster a collaborative team environment
• Ability to think strategically about design and business goals and use it to problem solve and drive the product forward
