Who We Are
At Apartment List, we’re transforming how people rent—making it smarter, easier, and a lot less frustrating. Our platform has already matched over a 1.4 million renters with their next home, while helping properties fill units with the right residents. Backed by strong growth and a big vision, we’re building the future of renting—and inviting bold thinkers to help us shape it!
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Enablement to lead our lean but high-impact Enablement team at Apartment List. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you’ll define the vision for how Enablement drives sales productivity and revenue growth, while leading a team that executes training, play launches, and process adoption.
The ideal candidate has experience in fast-moving, startup-like environments where enablement is expected to directly influence revenue outcomes. You know how to set a north star, align cross-functional stakeholders, and prioritize what matters most — while ensuring your team has the clarity and tools to execute with speed and quality.
What You'll Do:
- Define the enablement strategy and roadmap to support GTM growth goals, including sales methodology, play adoption, and product launches.
- Align with Sales, GTM Strategy, Sales Ops, and Product Marketing to ensure enablement priorities directly support revenue objectives.
- Establish clear north star metrics for enablement (e.g., ramp time, win rates, multi-product adoption).
- Lead a small, high-performing enablement team; set priorities, coach, and develop their skills.
- Ensure the team delivers impactful onboarding, training, and enablement programs on time.
- Foster a culture of agility and iteration, balancing quick wins with scalable long-term frameworks.
- Oversee the design and rollout of enablement content, playbooks, and training assets.
- Ensure consistency and alignment in how GTM plays, product positioning, and methodology are brought to market.
- Drive adoption and effective use of enablement platforms (Sana, Gong, Highspot, Salesforce).
- Define and track KPIs to measure enablement’s impact (e.g., ramp time, adoption, win rates, quota attainment).
- Report regularly to GTM leadership on program effectiveness, iteration needs, and business outcomes.
- Use data and feedback to continuously refine enablement strategy and execution.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6–8+ years in Sales Enablement, Sales Training, or related GTM leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, ideally with prior sales experience (AE, AM, or similar).
- Proven ability to build and lead enablement programs in high-growth or startup environments.
- Strong facilitation and instructional design background, with the ability to guide reps and managers at all levels.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills; able to align with Sales, Product, Ops, and Marketing leaders.
- Analytical mindset; comfortable defining success metrics and measuring ROI of enablement initiatives.
- Experience working with Enablement tools such as Gong, Highspot, Sana, etc.
- Proven experience working with generative AI tools and technologies.
Pay Range:
We carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work.
