As our Lead Recruiter, Sales and G&A, reporting into the Recruiting Manager, you'll be a key player in scaling our team and driving our company's growth. You'll leverage your deep industry knowledge and expertise to develop and execute innovative recruiting strategies, ensuring we attract and hire the best sales professionals for our teams.
Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:
  • Own the Full-Cycle Recruiting Process: Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding, for a variety of sales and business roles.
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Sourcing Plans: Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and industry events, to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Provide Exceptional Candidate Experiences: Ensure a positive and engaging experience for every candidate, reflecting Apartment List's values and brand.
  • Build Strong Stakeholder Partnerships: Collaborate closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand their needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and provide regular updates on progress.
  • Achieve Ambitious Hiring Goals: Consistently meet and exceed hiring targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the sales organization.
  • Leverage Data and Analytics: Track and analyze recruiting metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruiting process.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest recruiting trends and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve our recruiting strategies.
Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
  • 10+ years of proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a strong focus on sales roles.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of sales/business roles, compensation structures, and industry trends.
  • Expertise in utilizing an ATS (we use Gem), LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting tools (and you are excited about what AI tools can do for our industry)
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Data-driven approach to recruiting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A passion for providing exceptional candidate experiences.
  • A strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is:
  • Zone 1: $129,000 - $156,000 TTC (including $116,000 - $140,000 base salary) + equity
  • Zone 2: $119,000 - $144,000 TTC (including $107,000 - $129,000 base salary) + equity
  • Zone 3: $109,000 - $133,000 TTC (including $98,000 - $119,000 base salary) + equity
This reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details provided do not include benefits and perks that we offer.
We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. It is always our goal to hire exceptional talent and we would be happy to share more about compensation during the hiring process.
