About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our Sales and Account Management teams. This role is crucial in driving disciplined sales execution, team development, and overall platform growth. You will ensure rigorous pipeline management, foster a high-performance culture, and deliver exceptional results across both new customer acquisition and account growth.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with deep experience in managing sales and account management teams, scaling early and late-stage products, and driving operational excellence.
This role requires ~30-50% travel within the assigned region.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Develop Teams: Oversee the Sales and Account Management teams, instilling a culture of accountability, energy, collaboration, and high-performance.
- Drive Sales Rigor: Implement disciplined sales processes, ensuring consistent pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and strategic deal execution.
- Team Coaching: Actively engage with team members through regular coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Ensure robust pipeline management and execution to achieve aggressive revenue and retention goals.
- Strategic Planning: Design and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive growth in both new and existing accounts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
- Deliver Results: Achieve revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction targets, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Performance Measurement: Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and inform decision-making.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 10+ years in B2B technology sales and 7+ years of leadership, with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of solution sales cycles, pipeline management, and account management best practices.
- Leadership Acumen: Exceptional team management, coaching, and development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Operational Discipline: Rigorous approach to process, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to build relationships across teams and work cross-functionally.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a willingness to roll up sleeves and dive into details.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with AI-driven solutions and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed to support the team and clients.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in the multifamily industry.
- Proven experience working with generative AI tools and technologies.
Pay Range:
We carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work.
- The compensation range is $273,540 - $353,780 OTE (base salary range: $224,300 - $290,100) + equity.

We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration. This is a fully remote position within the US, with regional travel as noted above.
